Hi all,

I hope this update finds you well in these challenging times! It's been a few months and I have some exciting updates on both SILVER and PALOMINO!

SILVER

Silver was born on Kickstarter, and could not have existed without your support. Now it is all grown up, making its own way into the world. A lot of love and hard work has gone into this new AbramsComic Arts hardcover edition, which collects the 4 trade paperbacks you know and love into 2 hardcover books. Book 1 ships in the fall, and thanks to a partnership with comic shops, A LIMITED NUMBER OF SIGNED COPIES CAN BE PREORDERED NOW.

PALOMINO Vol 2

I was originally shooting for a Vol 2 campaign right about now, but that turned out to be a little too optimistic. Not to say that we've been slacking over here! I'm in the final stretch on this massive volume! More on this soon, as Eddie, Lisette, Sheri Jo and co. continue to burn a path through the 1981 San Fernado Valley!

Hope this finds you well! It's been a minute, so I just wanted to update everyone on a couple of fronts. First, there is BREAKING NEWS on SILVER!!!

SILVER MOVING TO A NEW HOME!

I am super excited to announce that SILVER will be moving to Abram ComicArts, where this 4-volume original graphic novel vampire epic will continue its publishing adventure and build upon its amazing grassroots success! Details of the new Abrams edition will be announced soon. Until then, we will be selling the remaining stock of SILVER’s original Dark Planet Comics edition (Volume 1-4 and Boxset) until they run out—WHICH WILL HAPPEN SOON! If you want to complete your set of the soon-to-be-collectible original Dark Planet edition or grab its gorgeous boxset, NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!

PALOMINO VOLUME 2 SPRING 2022

Palomino Vol 2 is well underway! It's clocking in at a massive 265 pages (which is why it's taking me a little bit of time to finish) and ETA is spring next year! Here's a sneak peak! Enjoy!

FINAL PALOMINO UPDATE (for real this time) & COOL RECOMMENDATIONS

Hi all, Hope you're staying safe and sane in these trying time!

Just a final-final update for this volume to let you know that fulfillment has been completed. We received just a couple  "returned to sender"  packages recently, all in the same postal area, and just resent them after confirming addresses.  So if you haven't received your package yet (physical or digital), please reach out.

I want to thank you all again for reading Palomino! A lot more is on the way, with the second volume currently in progress, and MORE!  SOON!

...I would like to leave you with  recommendations for 2 very cool projects.  And just to be clear, I am not affiliated with these projects, but the vibes are good, so I'm sharing:

GHOSTS ARE PEOPLE TOO: Just in time for Halloween, this delicious creepfest by artist and musician Peter Ricq really needs to enter our astral plane! I love the art which is ultra creepy and there is a lot of soul in here! TWIN KINGS BATTLE: published by my pal Fabrice Sapolski and created by Disney animator/ DC and Marvel comic artist Phil Briones. It is an LGBT fantasy story. The art is fantastic, the point of view if fresh, and it has DRAGONS! Because Briones animation/comics background, his storytelling does epic and action AND slice of life really well! It's obviously very hard to get our collective attentions right now, and it's killing me to see those campaigns not getting the momentum they deserve, so don't miss out!

FINAL PALOMINO UPDATE (unless something happens and we need one more!)

Hi all,

Another big and final thank you as we are entering the last phase of the Palomino Vol. 1 campaign. Here is the update on fulfillment:

• A very small number of backers haven't returned their surveys yet, so their rewards can't ship until they do. If this is you, you know what to do. If you don't know what to do, please DM me.

FOR EVERYONE ELSE:

• All the art prints, T-shirt and apparels have shipped in the last couple weeks. If you haven't received yours yet, they should be well on their way.
• The books arrived here a few days later than expected, so we are slightly behind schedule, but catching up. As of yesterday, All books have been signed, sleeved, and about 50% of them have already shipped. Our friends from USPS will come pick up the rest monday and tuesday.
• The digital versions of the books are also being released tonight. Everyone who ordered them will (or possibly already has) received an email from Backerkit with the link to download the PDFs. And remember that everyone who ordered physical copies also gets the corresponding digital versions as well at no extra cost. So basically, everybody's getting an email with the appropriate  download links. In fact...haha, funny story... I may have double-clicked that button, so you might be receiving 2 emails back to back. But don't be confused, those are the same links.  I don't know at what rate Backerkit is sending out those emails, but if you haven't received yours by tomorrow am, check your spam folder.

FAQ:

• So far there hasn't been any problem, but as we all know, the postal service may be slower in these crazy times, so give it a few days before worrying about not receiving your books. All the packages have tracking numbers, so everything should be fine.
• We're processing a large number of orders, so a few mistakes may happen. If your order somehow arrives with an error in it, DM me, and we'll fix it.

So there you have it, we're about to cross the finish line on this adventure, and best of all this is the kind of finish line that is just the beginning!
